Care for the cloth

Dry clean your Maheshwari saree and store it in a breathable cotton bag. Refold it every few months so zari does not crease along the same line.
Air it in shade—never harsh sun—and avoid plastic covers. Treated gently, the cloth grows softer and more beautiful with time.
